Mold Resistant Coatings
Our mold resistant coatings are used in areas where mold, fungus and odor-causing bacteria have been or have the potential to be a problem. Easily sprayed or painted on to wood, drywall, or masonry surfaces, the products are as safe as architectural paint and as easy to handle and apply. The products form a film that is designed to provide long-term protection to microbial growth. These products are tested under the harshest mold resistance test possible, ASTM-D5590. They are also formulated to be effective at exceptionally high coverage rates, providing a low-cost per square foot to the user.
Fire Barrier Coatings
PCI fire barrier coatings are designed to repress flame spread, smoke development and burn through when treated surfaces are exposed to a fire. Use of these coatings can allow combustible building materials to be installed where ASTM E-84 Class A or B flame spread and smoke development restrictions are imposed. These products can be brushed or spray applied, and are as safe to use and apply as architectural paint.
Termite & Pest Control
PCI's line of termite and pest barriers provide a coating that is resistant to termites and other wood boring insects. Generally applied to wood materials that are at risk to attack from these type of insects, the coatings are safe and easy to apply with sprayer or brush. The products are a safe and effective way to protect materials at risk to degradation from wood boring insects. PCIs pest barriers offer the added advantage of having long-term resistance to mold, fungus, and odor-producing bacteria.
Weather Barriers
PCI’s weather barrier coatings are designed to protect surfaces from moisture penetration and UV degradation. These products are also formulated to have excellent resistance to mold and fungus growth. Generally used exteriorly where moisture and ultraviolet light are a problem, the products dry clear and provide a coating that will last for an extended period of time. As with all PCI coatings, they are safe for applicators and the environment and clean up like and architectural paint.
